We’re Hiring: Prep Cook / Baker

We would prefer to hire someone who has a passion for food and specialty coffee. Is available to work part time in our kitchen in the mornings on weekends and occasionally during the week, with opportunities for more hours if desired. Kitchen job duties and attributes would include: Prepping, baking and making fresh food items for café and caterings. Being able to follow recipes and provide a consistent product every time. Maintaining a clean and organized working environment is essential. Quick learner, excellent communication and time management and being able to work alone is important. Providing support at special offsite events and at the café. Taking a proactive approach in learning from mistakes and identifying possible issues before they occur.

You have:
• One year food service work experience
• Food Safety Certificate (or equivalent)
• Smart Serve Certified (or willing to get it)
• One to two years customer service experience
• Specialty coffee knowledge
